Hey, Blizzard? I have a suggestion. Port Starcraft (and Brood War) to the Wii. Make sure to include some decent online multiplayer support while you’re at it.
Don’t give me that look. You ported it to the N64 way back in 2000. You and I both know that was a mistake. […]

The Wii Needs Starcraft
Brawl Getting Better?
I may have to rescind my earlier judgment against Brawl’s online gameplay. I managed to play a few games today with only minimal lag and no random disconnects. Has Nintendo implemented a more robust backend? I certainly don’t know, but here’s hoping that it stays this way.

Brawl’s Online Support is Pathetic
Oh Nintendo, how could you?
You promised us online gameplay, and you’ve given us a pile of crap. Smash Bros. Brawl has the worst online gameplay I’ve seen since 1997, and it damages an otherwise excellent game.
To start with, I’m getting booted from the service about 50% of the time with random errors. If I do […]
Brawl: First Impressions
I’ve been playing Brawl…a lot. Pretty much any spare time I have is being dedicated to unlocking everything I can. Even though I’m not all the way done with it yet, I thought I’d share my first impressions of the game:
Good
Subspace Emissary is long. Very long. Almost like a legitimate single […]
Get Behind Me Doctor!
You know, I always wondered if the Medic and the Heavy had a ’special’ relationship. Audio not safe for work.

Atari to be Sold?
Gameindustry.biz is reporting that Infogrames is offering to buy out the remainder of Atari’s stock. The former video game king’s stock is so low that Infogrames is only offering $1.68 per share. Atari execs have never been known for making good decisions, but hopefully they’ll just bite the bullet and sell the company.
Good […]
Gary Gygax Tribute Comics
The recent death of Gary Gygax has triggered a wave of saddness from gamers around the globe, and for good reason. Think of all the dungeon-crawlers you’ve ever played: Diablo, Elder Scrolls, World of Warcraft, etc. Would any of those games have been created if not for the invention of Dungeons and […]
Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem is the Scariest Game Ever
Up until now, I’ve never been scared by a game. Sure, I’ve been startled before (Resident Evil 4 Regenerators anybody?), but never actually scared. That is, until I rented Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem. This little gem came out in 2002, and I didn’t catch it back then so I’m glad I have […]

A Dexter Video Game?
IGN is reporting that there may be a Dexter game in the works. There’s no possible way this could end well.
For those of you who don’t know, Dexter is a TV series based on a series of books by Jeff Lindsay. Dexter (the character) is a charming blood spatter analyst in the Miami […]
Trauma Center: New Blood
I’m going to be honest with you: I don’t think Trauma Center: New Blood is as good as the original. After playing the game through, start to finish, I just can’t seem to like it as much as Trauma Center: Second Opinion. This game brings back what was enjoyable about the first […]
